A group of great people. We embarked many a journey together. Some dark and full of shadows, and some light and full of love. For these are my brothers of blood. The Bonsai Tribe was not a band that was known for playing many shows at a time. Most bands that you see are playing constantly everywhere and anywhere they can play. The Tribe really didn't play around that much. It seemed to me that all members of the band were from different corners of the Earth reuniting for spiritual purposes only.In late 2006, the band was undergoing some changes within the members of the band. Bonsai Tribe decided that the right thing to do was to shut down shop for Bonsai Tribe. To keep trying to find new members that fit the band seemed an impossible task so we just locked Bonsai Tribe in a chest deep down at the bottom of the sea. I think this was important to do because the people with in the band could never be replaced personality wise. We wanted to keep the group a treasure. In 2007, The band Bonsaitribe had reunited as "The Bonsai Tribe Family Revival" only playing a couple shows. One of those show was to say goodbye to a landmark Bar down in Point Dume called the Dume Room. The other show was a benefit to raise money for cancer research. Who knows when and where they will emerge from the depths of the sea once again. But have no fear, the tribe will always be near. Much love to all that have supported us throughout the years!!!April 19th 2008 at the 14BELOW 420 show. Bonsai Tribe reunites as The Bonsai Tribe Family Jamboree. The Jamboree consisted of Carter on lead vocals, Nal on drums, Dan and Boogie on saxaphone, scott ..s, Christian on bass, JC and Miles on guitar, and Bert on vocal and backing vocals. We had a special guest that evening by the name Cassandra Gonzalez who shared the stage with the tribe for 3 songs. It was a classic night with Meet me at the Pub. We can always count on the Pub to show us a good high.Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0
