The Slackers’ Vic Ruggiero said it best "We’re not Jamaicans, we’re New Yorkers playing Jamaican music". One minor difference (approximately 2,000 miles difference), we’re from Los Angeles. Not really all from East LA, but east of LA.
We do what we can with what we got, whats been given to us. Our surroundings and everything we hear influences us in all ways. An awesome show, hearing amazing lyrics, hearing amazing beats, tough days, and good days all influence us.
Most of all, we do it just for the love and fun of it all.....
