About Me

Remembering Lawrence King - Be a voice against violence

About Me:

Welcome to my personal page. My name is Dale & I maintain The Kate Bush Tribute Page on Myspace. I've setup this personal page because several people have written over the past several months wanting to know more about me. I've also had a lot of people assuming that I am Del Palmer , so I also want to clear that up as well. I'm not Del Palmer :-)

I've been a fan of Kate's music since I first heard The Ninth Wave in 1986. I was completely in love with her voice after the first listen. Over the next couple of years I picked up all of Kate's albums and quickly fell in love with each one. I hope you enjoy my tribute page for Kate ... it's my way of saying thanks to an amazing artist.

To honor Kate's 50th birthday, a fund raiser has been set up in her name for the NSPCC (The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) in the UK. The NSPCC released TV spots featuring Kate's song This Woman's Work with a voiceover by actor Michael Sheen in 2005, see the advertisement video below (be warned that this ad is upsetting). If you would like to participate, please follow the donation link below. Special thanks to Dinger(Laura) @ the Homeground forums for setting this up. This fund raiser is NOT officially associated with Kate Bush.
