My life revolves around muisc. I am mainly into hard rock and metal, and lately been getting into a lot of Aussie and Melbourne rock (thanks to myspace), but I am also a fan of classic rock, and the 80s. I don't mind some rap and hip hop but it would like looking for a needle in a haystack to find one of these CDs in my collection. I think that techno sux and anyone who thinks that taking someone elses music and adding a techno beat and changing it a little should be shot for thinking that that is music. Check out my list of fave artists to your left, and all the gigs I have been to to see who I am into. I am also a HUGE HUGE fan of Australia's own The Butterfly Effect and I seriously recommend you to check them out if you like any of the bands on my list... and if you don't, check them out anyways! And while I am on the subject of Aussie bands check out Freestate, Tread, A Sound Mind from Melbourne, and Edge of Earth and Hotel 4 from Brisbane!
I am studying a Bachelor of Applied Science in Multimedia Cartography (computer mapping) at RMIT Uni in Melbourne. I also have an Associate Diploma in Engineering (Survey & Mapping) - Cartography. Through these courses I have learnt how to make maps, GIS, and web design. I have also changed my goal slighlty in that I now want to make tourist maps in an online environment and incorporate virtual reality modelling.

However, my dream is for ROCK stardom. I have been playing the guitar since 1986 (I was 9 years old), but I have never been in a band. Well maybe once for 1 week with some mates but we ditched the singer after the first jam and called it quits after the second... so that doesn't really count. I have always put my education and career path as a priority on the odd chance that my dream doesn't happen. I take my influences from Slash, Kirk Hammet, Dime (RIP), Tool, Grinspoon, and Silverchair. I have written several songs which always get great reception from my mates when i play them to them. But if anyone is looking for a guitarist I am available to jam and see where it goes! I have a Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Studio "Pirates of the Caribbean", a Black Epiphone Acoustic/Electric, a Red Reflex Series II (Yamaha Pacifica replica) "My Baby", Yamaha Semi-Acoustic and a 60W Berringer 'Heaven & Hell' amp! I live with my best fiend Enza and her 4 kids who are 16, 14 (boys) 11, and 5 (girls). I'm currently single and out just looking to have fun and see what happens. Enza says that I'm a chicky guy cos she knows more about cars than I do, and how to do handy man stuff. Plus I like going shopping, dolphins, stars, jigsaw puzzles (thanks to her), Lego (i found my child hood passion) and I cry at sad and happy parts in the movies. So girls... if you want a guy who enjoys shopping and not afraid to show emotion in the movies... you know what to do!
