About Me

Courtesy Waxfruit Arts Media, a not-for-profit organization for artists .

I do a lot of stuff…wear a lot of hats. Or maybe better put, like Bartholomew Cubbins , I've got so many hats on my head it gets me into trouble.
I’m a singer-songwriter who started out playing coffee houses and the occaisional subway stop, went on to front a ’90s mod-jangle-pop band called the Eddies , released a couple of solo albums and a smattering of singles on various compilations (like this one and this one ), and on occaision write for other artists . I’m also an art director and illustrator who’s worked for national , regional , and city magazines, bunches of indie record labels, arts organizations and corportate clients. Over the years I’ve dabbled in printmaking, cartooning, installation art, photos and video . I helped start Stereorrific Recordings to promote the music of my more talented friends, and most currently, Waxfruit Arts Media , a not-for-profit organization that will support and create projects connecting indie music with other media arts . I’ve won some awards, made some friends, made some enemies. Mostly, I’ve been lucky to meet and work with all sorts of inspired, creative people – many of whom you'll find in the friend list below.
You, Sweet You
