Gobble Gobble...

About Me

I'm back from Brasil and getting ready to head down again for a year or so. It's amazing the amount of crap we accumulate living in one area for most of our lives...Um, ok. So I'm me. And like this is about me. But I don't know what to say in a paragraph or two, and besides I'm such a lazy ass that I probably won't edit for so long it won't be me anymore! I would say some of the standards about me are I'm pretty laid back, have as much fun dancing as watching a movie on my comfy, comfy couch as walking through the woods with or with out a destination as kicking ass Street Fighter 2 style. But I've noticed recently that living in the crap hole....I mean Capital has been wearing down my spirits and I was getting pretty uptight for a bit. Luckily I escaped to Brasil for my brother, Daniel's, wedding and I returned refreshed. It's amazing how getting away from it all, I mean rrrrreally away, let's one look at everything so much more clearly. I'm pushing 3 decades and have had a great time so far, but I'm starting to realize I need to have more then a long term I-want-to-be-directing-movies-living-whereever-the-hell-I-wa nt years-and-years-from-now goal, and the daily shit-,-I-need-to-eat tomorrow-better-go-find-work-today short term goal. So the five year plan is in the works, sort of. I'll get back to you on that in a few years. Once I have my book published (It's finally written too!) and my movie distributed (not quite as done as my book....) and I can finish that shower water saving invention before someone steals my idea from the ether like they did with the other stuff (bastards for being more proactive then me and coming up with the same idea at the same time) then I'll figure out how to end a run-on sentence and make my big move. To where, I have no idea! 8) If you actually want to know about me, write, I's a good typur and wood like too chat. What's your Inner European?

You thought the music list was long. Top five I could watch anytime anywhere in any state of mind: The Professional, Casablanca, Mannequin, Matrix(1), Big Trouble in Little China, and The Muppet Movie. I love Akira Kurosawa, Hitchcock, Kevin Smith, Chaplin, Baz Lurman, also John Carpenter's a 80's god! I'm a sucker for a good romantic comedy and can take a epic film anytime I have the time. Anything with Peter Sellers is also gold leafed in my book. Aliens, Austin Powers, Star Wars, The Groove Tube, The Constant Gardener, Batman Begins, Shadow of a Doubt(Hitchcock's, not that Melenaie Griffith crap), Wishful Thinking, Josie and the Pussycats, Meet the Feeples, E.T., Sabrina (the original), The Ring (the remake), American Grafitti, Shogun (should that be under TV?), Adventures of Bukaroo Banzai, Can't Hardly Wait, Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Clockwork Orange, Rebecca, Lord of the Rings (Live and Baski cartoon), Krull, Scorpion King, Ronin, Clerks, Fritz the Cat, Cyber Sex?, Beach Fever 2, Seven Samurai, Macross, The Ring, Dark City, Hard Bodies, To Kill a Mockingbird, Defending Your Life, The Natural, Earth Girls are Easy, Breakin 2: Electric Bugaloo (Pure campcrap, but the title's awsome!), Mallrats, Killer Klowns from Outerspace, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, Laurel and Hardy (NOT color), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gone with the Wind, Animalympics, Kentucky Fried Movie, The Wiz, Wizard of OZ, Dark Side of Oz (There, that covers that story), Tron, Halloween(execpt 3, that one always freaked me out too much as a kid, haven't watched it since), Bedazzled, Secret of Nimh, Dark Crystal, Freeway, Mad Max(s), Conan the Barbarian, Clash of the Titans, Transformers:The Movie, Donnie Darko, Pirates of the Carribean, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Incredibles, Shaun of the Dead ...

Books:

Totally depends on the mood I'm in. I usually read fiction, every once in a while a biography, and a lot of short stories. Right now I'm reading Lord of the Rings again, Picture of Dorian Grey, and a Conversational Portugese Phrase Book to help refresh me for my semi-sabatical around Brasil. I just finished Stephen King's Wolves of the Calla and the Cronicles of Narnia, all seven. A great read for any age! I live with three cool people and we have a library in our front hall of shared books. I have no idea what I'm going to grab next, but I've always wanted to read Dracula.

Heroes:

Jane Goodall. Smart, Sexy, and she lives with Chimps! Jon Stewart, Steve Martin, Kevin Smith, and Joss Whedon tie for a close second.
