About Me

Holy cow! Stormy is over a year old now!!! What happened!

Chris is a musician/recording engineer that has worked on a number of projects in his lifetime as both performer and knob twiddler. He also plays a somewhat substantial role in the San Francisco indie label Three Ring Records as co-owner and manager. Shortly after meeting founder Dan Crowell in SF, Chris joined the team and has helped nourish it's rapidly growning roster of artistis including, Music For Aniimals, elephone, D.W. Holiday, Scrabbel, Rykarda Prarasol, the ebb and flow, the Scattered PAGES and many, many more. After graduating from school, Chris got his start in Austin, TX making records with the likes of And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, the Swells, employer/employee, Mentallo and the Fixer and many others in the indie world. In need of a major change, he moved from TX in 2003 and quickly found work in the San Francisco/Bay Area engineering and playing music. A number of projects he has engineered have garnered critical acclaim internationally and to date Chris has had over 10 projects chart on the College Music Journal. His projects have been reviewed in the New Musical Express, Option, the Big Takeover and a wealth of internationally known magazines and e-zines/blogs. In mid 2007 Chris moved to Austin with his family and then turned around and moved back to the Bay. Needless to say, the Bay Area is now home for he and his family. Life is full of speedbumps! The Bay Area slays!Chris has had the honor to play with the bands/projects, Scrabbel, the Bother, D.W.
