After a 4 year break, Natalia returns with a New CD entitled simply Sexi Flexi.
The new record may surprise many people including Natalia‘s fans as it is quite different from what Natalia had done before. The record shows that the musicians and creators behind the music have a very broad understanding and flexibility of music and what it means to them. The record takes it’s inspiration from modern day global trends, but it doesn’t blindly follow them. The CD contains elements of electronic beat, hip hop, club music; sounds of the 80’s and 90’s. Lovers of R&B music will also find something for themselves on this record…
The tracks on this album are to become future hits; they are very dynamic and melodic. The main character of this record is the pure joy of creating music that the creators had within themselves as they were making this record. The were not only thinking about creating a product that could sell-and for this reason Sexi Flexi is fresh and a modern alternative to Polish mainstream music. This record is definitely a pop record characterized by distinctive mix of various sounds. You can hear the love for Motown Funk Soul on the track “This state of mind”. Elements of Hip Hop and Electric Beat of the 80’s resembling D Train or Prince can be heard on tracks (“In the Spot”, “Sexi Flexi” and “Fantasies”) you can also hear minimal vocals so unique to Janet’s or Michael Jackson’s music on tracks I look @ U.
The Singer along with the producers of this record (Bartek Krolik & Marek Piotrowski - Plan B, SiStars) were not afraid to experiment and go back to the roots of history of music. Without any doubt, they played a tribute to their own musical inspirations. The music and lyrics on this record were written by Natalia and the producing team. It took over a year to record this album. It contains 11 tracks pus bonus remixed tracks. The album features guests such as: Mika Urbaniak, Scott Parker and Plan B.
