NICK HOLLYWOOD

NICK HOLLYWOOD was co-founder of, and resident DJ at, the infamous CLUB MONTEPULCIANO - London's finest lounge and cabaret club (R.I.P) 1993-2004. The club pioneered the lounge, cabaret and burlesque scenes against the then dominant background of rave, becoming a club-land institution in the process. In 2004 Time Out magazine described it as "one of the things you have to do before you can call yourself a real Londoner!"
Nick also compiled the genre-defining albums Showgirls And Sugardaddies, Bongo Beach 1 & 2, Swinging London 'the real sounds of the swinging London underground' and Miss Lounge Universe - UK (the latter for Japan), as well as producing music under the guise of LEMON . He currently runs the label and publisher FRESHLY SQUEEZED MUSIC .
NICK HOLLYWOOD may still occasionally be found donning his finest vintage suit and making a special guest appearance at the most swingin' international clubs and events including Lost Vagueness, The Brighton Festival Club Spiegal Tent, Glastonbury Festival, Bestival, South London Pacific, The Rivoli Ballroom and many more...
