My Interests

www.phfx.com
Painting, drawing, photography, cinematography, writing, music, touching, dreaming, doing stuff outside and inside.

I'd like to meet:

The ghost in the abyss.

Music:

Nine Inch Nails, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Pearl Jam, Dresden Dolls, Muse, Marilyn Manson, Mozart, Beethoven, The Glitch Mob, Fiona Apple, Sarah Mclachlan, Massive Attack, DJ Jean, Foggy, Bjork, Mindless Self Indulgence, Overseer, Tori Amos, Vanessa Mae, Chris Vrenna, Neptunes, older John Williams work, tons of other soundtracks, older Metallica, good rock, good indie, good classical, and the crap I make.

Movies:

In the 80's they helped raise me.

In the 90's they made me want to do it for a living.

Before the 80's they seem to horribly inspire me.

Now it's mostly work and mostly awesome.

Directors: Spielberg, Cameron, Coppola, Lucas, Kubrick, Lynch, Fincher, McTiernan, Anderson, Anderson, Scott, Boyle, Forman, Nolan, Burton, Tarantino, Rodriquez, Del Toro, Smith, Soderbergh, Kaufman, Coen, Brooks, Palma, Leone, Singer, Romanek, Darabont, Cosmatos, Bird, Mendes, Zemeckis, Besson, Stone, etc...

And the cinematographers and crews behind most of their movies.

Fuck. Anybody who ever worked on The Abyss.

I have a hard on for good and bad horror movies and older films.

Actors: Almost anything with Robin Williams, Gene Wilder, and Bill Murray. Come to think of it, maybe I was raised by Bill Murray.

Television:

24, Family Guy reruns, LOST, Dexter, Weeds, ANTM, The Office, and a few Laker Games here and there.

Books:

Alice in Wonderland. I read some other books too, but I have a hard time remembering anything about them.

Heroes:

A mish mash of artists, illustrators, filmmakers, photographers, scientists, comedians, authors, musicians, and other creative types both dead and alive.

Jacque Cousteau, Maurine Ryan, Carl Sagan, James Nachtwey, Bill Hicks, Jacque Fresco.
