About Me

Formed in Orange County NY in 1994, Shrubs have fused garage pop with alien poetics. They performed and recorded with Patti Smith, Lenny Kaye, Glenn Mercer
(The Feelies), Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, and folk legend Pete Seeger. They have toured the northeast and UK (including the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool). They have released 4 studio records (Pickled Children [1995], Somebody's Watching [1996], Zod, King of Spoons [1997], and Misfits and Dreamers [2001].Cool stuff to read: Misfits and Dreamers Review
