Way Out West

About Me

They're called Way Out West, and that's where they take you with classic music of the working cowboys, songs of Hollywood's singing cowboys, and their own songs played with their bordergrass sound! You'll smell the woodsmoke and the sage, hear the coyotes yip in the Arizona desert and sense the anxiety and tension along the borderline.

Way Out West is Emmy Creigh, guitar and vocals; Slim Rost, bunkhouse bass and vocals; and Tom Poley, banjo, guitar, mandolin and vocals.

Way Out West plays the old classics and soon-to-be classics. And you can read their original cowboy poetry at WWW.Blue Bhikku.com

If you'd like to know where Way Out West is playing, check out the schedule.

Muchas Gracias!

Check Out Our New CD... Down on the Ol' Bar None is the definative description of Bordergrass

There's straight ahead Western music (Arizona April, Adios to the Cowboy, and Arizona Moon); there's reflective writing that touches on today's border issues (Down on the Ol' Bar None and Chicletista);and there's Bordergrass with Kevin Schramm on button and piano accordions and Chip Curry singing the Mexican folk song, Viva Chihuahua!
