About Me

Many thanks to all the radio stations that have been spinning “Gone”. We had a very successful 2007! And for the stations that are branching out further and spinning “Sure” – many, many thanks as well. WOCO-FM 107.1 in Wisconsin, KLBQ-FM in Arkansas, WVKM-FM 106.7 in West Virginia and KXRV-FM 105.7 in Salt Lake City all reported high rotation for “Gone”. Stay tuned!PURCHASE THE NEW CD "SENDING OUT A SIGNAL" AT cdbaby
A BRIEF BIO
Sidney got bitten by the songwriting bug early. At the age of 14 she was pestering a major recording studio to hire her for the summer. By the age of 16, she was writing original music and songs for semi-professional theater. Her love of the craft soon led her into the realm of pop songs - writing and recording her own songs. Sidney also enjoys collaborating with other writers and one of her co-writing projects with Charlie Silver caught the ear of both Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel, who both took the time to write a letter of encouragement.
Soon after, Sidney left her hometown of Toronto and headed for New York where she played the club scene - CBGB's, Arlene Grocery, Kenny's Castaways, CB's Gallery - and many other venues. With songs placed on All My Children and her single 'Baby Do You Wanna Make Love' getting a rave review by Larry Flick in Billboard magazine, Sidney knew it was time to commit to recording her first album. "First Time Anywhere" received radio play in Canada and the U.S.
Sidney has collaborated with other singer/songwriters, and continues to seek out new challenges and opportunities.
Sidney called in her favorite bandmates once again and has released her second cd "Sending Out A Signal". She is currently writing and will soon be recording her 3rd album.
