2008. damn I can't believe it.

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 Does anybody ever read these? Well anyway here goes: I am an individual. I am not being pretentious, I really mean I haven't met anyone who is exactly like me though some come closer than others. The only way I can explain this without sounding too arrogant is to say I'm basically a walking contradiction. All the components that make up who I am don't make a whole lot of sense when you put them together, but somehow they make sense to me in ways I don't have room to explain. I am probably the nicest asshole you will ever meet. I make hip-hop music though I stopped listening a long time ago. Though I still consider myself to be hip-hop, I get distracted by too many other older forms of music.I love art though I think a lot of it is bullshit and can't stand posing twenty-somethings who are all about that shit. But I also hate dumb niggas that don't be about shit, even though I understand why they are that way. I like the underground scene because there is only mainstream as the alternative, but think they are full of shit also and their fans too. That goes for EVERY genre. Everyone else fits so neatly into nice little boxes with labels (even the ones that swear up and down they don't) but I haven't found where I belong yet. It has its perks though, you can move easily through crowds and scenes where in some cases you dumb yourself down for peers and in other cases, make yourself out to be more than you are for others doing the same, and even run into some people who are genuinely surprised by what you turn out to be. People are almost surprised to find out I'm Black. Not Half, Not 3 quarters, but all the way Black, even other Black people. Is this too much to read yet? 'cuz I'm tired of typing...

I feel like I HAVE to say this....

People need to STOP HATING and understand something. Common's new album is AIGHT, meaning it's not bad... but it ain't GREAT, and yes "ELECTRIC CIRCUS" does run laps around it. There I said it, WHAT!!...
