Right now we're enjoying a few books that center around that little storm of ocean aggression that passed through here about three years ago. The Tin Roof Blowdown by James Lee Burke. The first several chapters really capture some truths about that fateful day. Hobnobbers took in about a foot of water, for weeks. When we returned, it was a mess. But the point is, we RETURNED and enjoyed the spoils of about every construction crew that came here to get the city up and running. We hosted the Deja Vu cast and company, and currently enjoying another new film. This city is returning, and we hope you find the time to see her in her rising glory.
