Mariano Gari was born in Camaguey, Cuba. He is known as an instrumental musician, composer and producer. His melodic abilities are also used for writing musical for a arrangements. His vast experience made him a music professor at The Superacion Institute, a musicians’ school in Camaguey for graduated musicians to perfect their skills, learn to play new instruments or to expand their knowledge of their specialties. He has recorded and produced with various musical grups in Camaguey, Cuba. He undertook the task of a composer and musician for the instrumental album Caminos. Gari’s life in Cuba involved frequent participations in jazz festivals with well-known artists like: Arturo Sandoval, Pucho Lopez, Grabiel Hernandez, to name a few. Gari traveled to South America. In Bogota, Colombia he performed for five years as the guitarist for the exclusive group Son y Luna at Gato Negro Club. He was also the lead guitarist for Amparo Sandino’s Album, Punto de Partida. Gari moved to the United States. He has made television appearances and performances as a guitarist as well as a background vocal performer. His experience has enabled him to expand his horizons and make musical arrangements and write lyric for a variety of local and international artists. He has participated in diverse contemporary musical festivals in Miami and he continues his journey with enthusiasm. Gari’s talent still has a lot offer to the music industry.
