Music, Art & Literature is everything. Painting and loving the work of people such as Rothko, Still, Serra, Pollock, Picasso, Rauschenburg, Giacometti, Fontana, Auerbach, Franz Kline, Jasper Johns to name but a few... PHOTOGRAPHY- all aspects - 35mm film (although i have had to succumb to digital, somewhat begrudgingly), DARKROOMS (my favourite place that recently i NEVER frequent cos i'm shit), books and somewhat obviously - reading them. BECKETT, SARTRE, DOSTOEVSKY make me happy. DANCING in appropriate places, DANCING in inappropriate places, shoegazing, JOY, existentialist tendencies, headphones, peppermint tea, not having to work in an uncreative environment.

Dogme 95 (Festen, Dancer in the Dark to name but a few!), Won Kar Wai films, Withnail and i, Napolean Dynamite!... Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, The Labyrinth, pretty much everything bu the Coen brothers....i'm shit at naming films i like.
The Mighty Boosh. I don't get to watch much these days (...but most of the following i own on dvd cos i'm a loser....) I do think, however, that Nathan Barley - is pure genius. Oooo talking of which Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe is fucking hilarious. Oh and i like The Simpsons somewhat obviously (and Family guy is almost godlike... dear me, i'm a f**king cliche!)
Le Nausee - Jean Paul Sartre (my most favourite book), Camus (The Plague being my second favourite), Crime and punishment, Notes from Underground, House of the Dead - practically everything i've read and am yet to read by Dostoyevesky, absolutely EVERYTHING by Beckett (i genuinely love him so!), STEPPENWOLF - Hermann Hesse (everyone should read this book - it is absolutely beautiful and inspiring and plain fucking AMAZING), Herzog - Saul Bellow (which means The Clown by Henrich Boll - Bellow took a lot from it - so did a lot of people by the looks of it - its wicked), James Kelman, the almighty Gogol, the beautiful Sebald, Wilde, Joyce and Emile Zola (everyone should read L'oeuvre). I read some Robert Musil recently - its utterly beautiful the way he writes (well after translation anyway) -i would seriously recommend it! Raymond Carver, Kafka, Orwell, Colette, De Beauvoir, Thomas Pynchon, Kurt Vonnegut.
