I was born on May 24, 1979 in Nishinomiya, Japan.I play the flute since I was 13.And I studied musicology at the University Kobe, Japan.Currently, I am studying classical flute at the
University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *About the Cris Gavazzoni Band:In the fall of 2005, I met the Brazilian percussionist Cristiane Gavazzoni at Mannheim's public English course. We were the only two participants from the University of Music and Performing Arts.We both quit learning English (oops), but our friendship and musical cooperation has continued, thus, the Cris Gavezzoni Band was founded with Cristiane on percussion and bandleader, Gregor Engelhardt on piano, Katharina Gross on bass, Joao Luis on guitar plus me on flute and many other nice guests.In May 2007 the first CD of the Cris Gavazzoni Band was recorded.More details about the Cris Gavazzoni Band...:http://www.myspace.com/crisgavazzoni
