About Me
..I was born in 1987 in a familiy of musicians, in Salvador-Bahia-Brazil, I began to play at the age of 11, and with 14 happened the first travel for playing in my life, with a Heavy-Metal band, in Natal- Brazil. It was a long time playing and traveling in northest Brazil making Rock Music, but always in contact with brazilian music, because I always loved it. I used to take lessons with Humberto Salles, guitarist that lives now in USA, After I studied with the master Mou Brasil, and made 5 semesters of Contemporary Composition in the University of Bahia, I was member of the Unidade De, contemporary scene music, played Frevo with people from the family Macêdo (Gabriel Macêdo), they who created the Trio Elétrico and the Guitarra Baiana. In the Big Band from Andréa Ernst, we played only stuffs from Moacir Santos, I was since 2005 active in the musical scene from my city playing jazz and a lot of kinds of brazilian music. I made the musical direction and arrengements for the albun from the Zefa di Zeca band and Ivo Menezes. Since 2007 in Germany, I already played here with Rainer Pusch, Bê. Markus Schmidt, Nice Brasil, Cristiane Gavazzoni (with who I made a tour in Japan in September 2008, and recorded an album "Jardim Japonês"), Daniel Fleischmann (Trio Corcovado), Jochen Brauer and a lot of good people, Played with the Big-Band from the Hochschule für Musik Saar at the Jazz Festival in den Ministargärten, in Berlin, During February 2010, happened some nice concerts at my hometown with Paolo Sapia, a great new project that is called Coletivo Sambop. I had also great workshops with Randy Brecker and Jerry Granelli. I make my effort of being always musicaly active. At the moment, I play, practice, give lessons in a littleschool in Homburg-Germany, and study Jazz-Guitar in the university of Saarland, in Saarbrücken, Germany, with Joachim Schönecker, Klaas Willeke, Georg Ruby, Olliver Maas, Alexander Schimmeroth, Oliver Strauch, Wollie Kaiser, and others.
