About Me

a team of scientists proposed two techniques that could enable edible meat to be grown in laboratories on an industrial scale. one method involves growing sheets of meat cells on scaffolding, which would increase thickness; the other requires creating "structured muscle tissue as self-organizing constructs," which could be then harvested and turned into hamburger or nuggets. "the challenge," said one meat scientist, "is getting the texture right. we have to figure out how to 'exercise' the muscle cells." british researchers speculated that mad cow disease might have been caused by feeding cattle human remains accidentally imported from india. it was reported that atleast one chinese cosmetics company has been using skin from executed criminals in beauty products, such as the collagen filler used in lip-enhancement surgery, that are exported to europe and the united states. canadian doctors saved a baby from drowning in his own drool by using botox on his salivary glands.
