Baltimore native, Jamel "Roc Stalin" Williams, signed to Local Label Triumphant Music Group in the fall of 2006. Performing around the City, he caught the attention of Shaka Pitts, CEO/ President of "The Spitters Club", a local arena of hip hop. Pitts aware of Stalin's talent, Brought him onto 92Q's "Tuesday Night Fights" to see if he could hold up against a little competition. This show is hosted by Radio Personality Squirrel Wyde, along side Shaka Pitts and DJ K- Swift. Though Stalin did not retire, He dominated the airwaves ervery week for almost two months, crushing opponent after opponent. Stalin has also performed at "The Arena Players" in a showcase funded and Hosted by TMG. This showcase included several acts such as the TMG family, YHGM, Ty- Gudda, Unreal, Ray Victory, Shelbie Raw, Hulie Shalone, and others. He also has won several showcases including the SNL/ OTC Showcase entitled, "Show Me What You Got". Stalin is a regular at night club, "5 Seasons'", Hip- Hop 101 showcase on Monday nights, Hosted by Sonny Brown, Shaka Pitts, and Squirrel Wyde. With a legitimate sound, local buzz, and a growing fan base, Stalin is ready to release his long awaited debut project in fall 07' under the watchful eye of TMG Co- Ceo Justin "Kessino" Kess. This Mixtape/ Street Album will feature several Baltimore artist and Producers. TMG recording artists such as Kessino, Luchiano, Ransom, J Ross, and Starz, will showcase their talent. Other local artists include Unreal, Ace Magnum, Marx, ONLY, and The Scholars. Production on this project will be handled by TMG producer JG, as well as production by Top Secret and DJ Booman. He hopes to take Baltimore Hip-hop to another level. there are a couple of offers on the table from major labels, but Stalin has made it clear that there is a bidding war going on.
