A little about Kris Bell:
Ever since Kris Bell was four years old, music has touched his soul. It was then that he first learned what music was and the power it had. At seven, he was given a classical guitar for Christmas and for the next five years, Kris learned to harness his talent and build on the potential which he possessed. He performed his first concert at age eight, began playing electric guitar at twelve, wrote his first song at fourteen and since then, has gained extensive experience in performing, recording, touring, and producing.
In April of 2005, Kris moved from his hometown of San Diego, CA to Nashville, TN. Within one month of relocating, he was quickly hired as the Lead Guitarist for American Idol star Bo Bice. During the course of the past two years, Kris performed on numerous live television programs, toured nationally, recorded on a major label record that achieved gold sales, and was featured in a number one music video on MTV and VH1.
This year, Kris made the decision to pursue a solo career and is currently recording his debut album at Dark Horse Studios in Franklin, TN. With influences ranging from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Eric Clapton, Kris’ music is a special blend of Rock, Country, and Blues. He combines the past and the present with a guitar-heavy sound that is all his own. His lyrics are passionate and heartfelt and Kris’ songs capture a soulful realism that is both powerful and addictive.
