My personal definition of a hero is someone that is constantly reaching higher for themselves but never forgets to reach back to help others. Teachers, nurses, social workers, and anyone who is willing to be selfless in order to enhance the lives around them are heroes. People that not only recognize a problem but actually work their asses to effect real change are heroes.
