February 4rth 2006 saw the installation of mother Lucille Hendrix's headstone 1 minute away from Jimi's memorial realized. EXPERIENCE HENDRIX left Lucilles grave site as the brick that was placed there when she passed. Donations to the Real Lineage Of Jimi Hendrix's Blood Family made this possible for a family that has been walled out of any involvement or benefits to Jimi's Legacy. Certainly putting in a headstone amidst a miriad of other concerns for the Surviving Blood Relatives Of Jimi shouldnt have to qualify as a benefit, it should be a direct right of passage. Unfortunatley Experience Hendrix forgoes opportunities to balance a family history even in the public conscience with easy mind and heart winning gestures such as the inturnment of this stone.

How about Jimi Hendrix Diaper covers? Air freshener? "Authentic signature" boxershorts?Golf balls? Chairs where you sit on an image of his face? Hendrix Red Wine? Hell, why not exhume his corpse and move it to some gaudy purple haze memorial where we can sell plots next to him? Oops,all of the above has already been done by non other than Janie so called Hendrix herself! And the kicker?? She's his adopted stepsister and is of no blood relation whatsoever!! Jimi's real family was included in his father's numerous wills for nearly 30yrs but after Janie took over her stepdad's affairs in '96, that all changed! I'm happy to see Jimi's real brother who Jimi helped raise and other family members benefiting from his legacy.Janie's marketing some sugary energy drink. What's next? Hendrix Holy Water?? Huge Thanks Goes Out To Glen Cogshell For Aquiring The Show For The Leon Hendrix Mysterience!
HENDRIX BROTHERS COFFEE footnote: Leon has had the good fortune of meeting Glen Cogshell, Owner of Black Dot Coffee and teamed up to produce Hendrix Brothers Coffee with Leon. The brand was warmly recieved last weekend once again at the Lake Stevens, WA AQUAFEST. The public enjoyed the coffee stand as a center feature presentation of Jay's Market on mainstreet. Leon was noted on the billboard sign atop the store to be in person and to meet customers. The people that came were genuinely charmed by Leon's warm demeanor and naturally friendly disposition. They met him as genuinely as he recieved them hearing stories and recollections as questions were posed. A memorable day in Lake Stevens to be sure noted by the Mayor and many locals. Some people wont deal with this band due to thinking that Janie may take them to court! This is a hot ticket under the radar, if you get the chance to see them live... you will never forget it. The festival drew major support all for charity.

The festivities featuring the music of The Leon Hendrix Mysterience wowing 2000+ people. This group is Mr. Hendrix's 7 year strong music stride. The band performs LIVE and ELECTRIC its own material as well as co-written songs Leon has selected before forming the band. Live, they spark the imagination and reverence of the audience performing "Little Wing", "All Along The Watchtower", "Hey Joe" and "Johnny Be Good" to fill in their two hour set to many peoples suprise.
