Sex, Lies, and Blogs...Do you know WHAT LIES IN SHADOW?

About Me

An Introduction:
I read suspense thrillers because I like to be scared, and I write suspense thrillers because I like to scare people. Not-entrails-on-the-floor or unnecessary-hacked-up-body-parts-wrapped-prettily-in-a-packa ge type books. More like not being able to trust anyone, not even people you think you can trust type books. Books about psychological manipulation and psychotic baddies who enjoy the torment even more than the actual kill. Being scared is fun. Just ask any roller coaster or horror flick fanatic. Heck, just watching the evening news can be terrifying.
Pick up one of my books, though, and I'll guarantee you one thing: in my world, the bad guy always gets his in the end. Or the head. Or wherever it turns out to be. We don't always get the luxury of justice in real life, but every time I write a book, I get justice for all those people who couldn't. And I get to meet fun people who I then put through hell, all in the name of entertainment. That is what I call a sweet way to make a living.
As for hobbies and interests, besides writing (which consumes much of my time), I love spending time with my friends and family, whom I cherish. I read (I swear there's a book or magazine on every flat surface in my house) and listen to spiritual books on tape, such as Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn, Esther and Jerry Hicks, and anything by Wayne Dyer.
My beliefs are God, a positive attitude, living life to the fullest, doing unselfish things on a regular basis, small indulgences, believing in yourself, appreciating what you have, and no regrets.

Reviews for
WHAT LIES IN SHADOW! by Tina Wainscott
If you love a challenging, complex thriller, then this is exactly what you need to buy. Ms. Wainscott builds the tension perfectly…I've considered every word of hers a keeper. This book only cements that opinion. --Amanda Kilgore, Huntress Reviews

Wainscott pens a chilling tale of deception and desire that takes place both on and off the Internet…the novel is a compelling one, and the antagonists are creepy enough to make anyone think twice before posting personal information online. –Romantic Times

In What Lies in Shadow, Tina Wainscott brings us into a world of deception, blackmail, infidelity, and yes even murder! The characters rang true and the plot absolutely ominous! When you see this book buy it! Imagine Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City with an ominous undertone -- Marie, www.shopsmartbookclub.com

The Book is Out, the Book is Out!

Even with my 18th book, it's exciting when the book becomes reality.  It's kind of like having a baby: preparing for the arrival, getting antsy with anticipation, holding the "baby" in your hands...
