Frozen tears the heavens do cry
In this wintery season the earth run dry
But with hope for tomorrow i hold you nigh
As tomorrow quickly spins passing us by...
My thoughts to you they keep returning,
Wondering. dreaming. pondering. planning.
Longing to spend even a moment with you,
Praying to see the darkness fade to skies of blue...
And as the brightness of day melts to night
I see the stars that shine their heavenly light
Holding no answers but only a rhyme
Of the way we'll be together in the end of time
Those stars call the beauty of her eyes to my mind
And I imagine her speaking, so gentle, so kind
To even picture a lifetime that finds us apart
Brings an aching to my soul, sadness to my heart

Bound by the life she once chose to live,
She turned & closed the door, wanting more than I could give.
For all I could offer I received from Above:
Faithfulness, Honesty, Commitment, Love.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fellow seekers of our Lord Jesus. & still looking to meet that one special gal who loves God and who desires to meet a man who knows the meaning of Faithfulness, Honesty, Commitment and Love. One who doesn't play games with a man's head or his heart. A woman who believes in the kind of love that God intended for a man and a woman. Forever love.

And I'm striving to be ready to meet my King when He returns!

Music:

My vast collection includes, besides classic rock, Blues, Jazz, and Christian. Everything from Bob Dylan, Al Kooper, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac & Eric Clapton to Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Luther Allison & Muddy Waters to Diana Krall, Stanley Turrentine, Return to Forever & Natalie MacMaster to Robin Mark, Don Francisco, Matt Redman & Keith Green.

Movies:

"Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "the Gospel of John", "Three Amigo's", "The Blues Brothers". And I enjoy old Martin & Lewis comedies, and Woody Allen flicks.

Television:

Nope, no time. And besides, most of it's worthless, non-edifying, and a waste of time. (when I had cable - Discovery channel, Storm Stories on the weather channel, maybe the Simpsons, that's about it).

Books:

& here is a great group full of wonderful, caring Christians who pray for & encourage one another !
