I joined myspace mainly to have another way of connecting with my daughter who seems to go all over the world and my son, and for keeping connected with my friends from YWAM who are from different places, but I am excited to know of other connections and to be connected with different music people and groups. I would like to meet other people, around my age like between 48 and 57- male and female- who are also interested in Christian music and Christian writing. I am trying to market my book "The Light in Our Darkness" that is to help other single parent Christian or not who have gone through divorce or other hard times. It is a book of encouragement for others.

I love contemporary Christian and I believe the one who had the greatest influence back then and now for newer artists is Keith Green. One of my longest time favorites is Steve Camp. I very much like, Third Day, Ray Boltz, Mercy Me, Margeret Becker.Hillsongs of Australia, CHRISAGIS BROTHERS, Phillips Craig and Dean.I love worship music from Christian known and little known artists.
Then there is Andre Bocelli, the Italian classical tenor, who has the most gorgeous voice!
I, myself, have written a few songs...
Movies:
in no real order: "Gone With the Wind", "Serendipidy", "Silver Streak", "Erin Brockavich", other movies that are comedies/romance/adventure

Heroes:
Of course, Jesus is the biggest hero. Then of those from the Bible, my favorite is Joseph from the O.T.from more contemporary times, hmmm...we suffer from a lack of real heros, but I must say, the ones we don't know by name, the firefighters who risk their lives everyday for us like the ones from 9/11 come to mind and now from my town, the Charleston Nine that were killed trying tio rescue others. Also, our military people who- dispite the new media and left winged people who are making a big fuss about the war- are doing their jobs to protect us and promote freedom.
