I consider myself to be fairly laid back with a good sense of humor, but can be pretty vocal and opinionated at times. I enjoy doing anything outdoors, love to travel, go out, read, listen to music, and cook. I consider myself to be open-minded and adventureous, always looking to learn new things. My favorite music magazine is Decibel. I like how they cover good Metal bands, not just what's popular or what the kiddies are drooling over, and they do it in a mature and informative way. I also like how they do their album reviews. They describe and rate albums so that you know if it's something you'd be interested in purchasing or not. But they do have some cool and funny articles as well, so check them out!
I'd like to meet people like myself; adventureous, intelligent, open-minded, with a good sense of humor who loves music. I also like to chat with people from other countries. I like to discuss cultures and politics and learn about life in other countries.
I love Heavy Metal and Hard Rock music, but I enjoy music from other genres as well.
I pretty much like any kind of movie, but I really enjoy action-adventure and sci-fi movies. Of course, I loved "Apocalypse Now". I like how Francis Ford Coppola remade Joseph Conrad's book "Heart of Darkness" and converted it not only to a modern concept but during a modern conflict as well.
I usually watch CNN, the History Channel, and the Discovery Channel, but I also like Scrubs, That '70's Show, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Ed, Family Guy, 30 Rock, and South Park. I watch children's shows because of my daughter, however I am pleased that I've gotten her hooked on Spongebob Squarepants!
I read mostly history, current events, and non-fiction. I read many magazines, such as National Geographic Adventurer, Backpacker, Decible and Revolver.
I don't really have a particular "Hero" that I try and emulate since I think hero worship is a bad thing, but I do have several people that I try and take something about them that I like and respect and attempt to apply that to my life.
