I'd like to meet:
I have already met him... Denzel Washington of coarse!!! It was Palm Sunday 1999 at Church and sat down and watched Pauletta, Denzel, Debbie Allen, Cookie Johnson all sit down 4 rows in front of me and they did the welcome for visitors and I stood up and introduced myself and told the congregation what church I was visiting from in Tennessee and low and behold who, gets up and welcomes me and my then boyfriend Derrick and His mother that I flew into town to visit. They all got up and welcomed us... shook hands and everything. I was blessed to have my favorite star to introduce himself to me and his wife. It was my first time visiting the church. And everytime I am in LA I visit. But that wasn't the end of the story. After service was over was in the parking lot getting ready to go and get something to eat and Denzel sees us and invites us to his restaurant and we go there for Brunch and I sat at a table 3 feet away from him and his family and Norm Nixon is at the bar. I am dying on the inside as I would have loved to had a conversation but of coarse I respected his familial space and time. I did say thank you before leaving the restaurant for the invitation as this was a perfect outing with my then boyfriend and his mother to all conversate about for the rest of the day!!!! But it does not end there... I also got a card from a talent scout while sitting in the restaurant and she asked me to give her a call but I gave the card to my then boyfriend who resided in LA and he lost it and never gave it to me... what I wouldn't give for another opportunity to give that lady a call!!! She said that I had a very photogenic face and that I should be in movies! Dang it!!! I had a great day and very happy to have had this experience to share.

All R & B and Slow Jams my favorite song is by Gerald Alston... Take Me Where You Want To!!!! That is such a wonderful song. I remember the first time I played it on the air. I fell in love with it and played it often, so often in fact it became my theme song and introduction to my show and I would take listeners wherever they wanted by playing their requested songs.
