When DeDe McGuire talks, millions listen, especially when she’s conducting one of her high-profile celebrity interviews. She has been a vital part of The Doug Banks Morning Show since 1997. DeDe’s audience relies on her daily to inform them about their favorite celebrities, behind-the-scenes gossip and inside information. While the Seattle native has been part of ‘The Doug Banks Morning Show’ for several years, DeDe’s radio career began 10 years ago at a country station in Killeen, Texas. Although initially hired as the receptionist, management quickly recognized her great voice and personality. DeDe went to work on-air and program cross-town KIIZ, then did stints at KTFM San Antonio and KKDA (K104) Dallas, where she was one of the first female jocks to hold down afternoons. Her career then took her to WPNT Chicago, where she tried her hand at a late-night dating show for two years before heading to Top 40 WIQQ Philadelphia as the mid-day/ afternoon drive personality.In addition to co-hosting The Doug Banks Morning Show, DeDe is an accomplished television personality as well. She has successfully hosted two syndicated video programs and has made numerous guest appearances on top local and national talk shows, as well as features in Essence, Ebony, Today’s Black Woman, Vibe, Black Enterprise and Black Elegance.
