ENGLISH VERSION: rhope’s debut album is ready.Recorded and mixed in Milan by Diego Minach, it was mastered in Los Angeles by Hans DeKline.The tracks were written with specific attention towards melody and sound.The line up is the following: Gian Matteo Giuliani (voice), Diego Minach (guitar & voice), Paolo Minach (bass), Antonio Rotta (drums) and Diego Santoferrara (live guitar).In 1999 brothers Diego e Paolo give birth to a band named Access Denied together with Armando D’Agostino and Stefano Baracchi, and begin writing original music with a personal style.In the first half of 2002 they take part in different contests and perform on some of the most prestigious stages in Milan, such as Rolling Stone, Tunnel, Cascina Monlué, Scarface and Stonehenge.In October that same year they record a track at Milan’s Noise Factory for the original soundtrack of the Fast and Forward multi-award winning production E:D:E:N.In April 2003 they record a 5-track EP in the same studio and successfully perform in front of a crowd of 2000 at the Rolling Stone club, internationally recognized as Italy’s temple of rock music. A few months later Armando and Stefano leave the band. Current drummer Antonio steps into the line-up soon afterwards and the album’s pre-production begins.In May 2005 drums are recorded in Milan’s Zedak Studio, followed by bass and guitars in the closing months of the same year. The following step is the editing of recorded material. 2006 turned out to be a meditative year that lead to the search for a new singer.Giammi joins the band in January 2007 and records voices for the record.In October the album is finally out in print, and Access Denied officially become rhope.Thanks to the web page myspace.com/rhopeband the band begins to draw attention, with many visitors agreeing on the quality and drive of the project.rhope are now out in search of live dates to bring their impact to fans everywhere and to promote the band and the record.
ITALIAN VERSION: L’album di esordio dei rhope è pronto. Registrato e mixato a Milano da Diego Minach, è stato masterizzato a Los Angeles da Hans DeKline. I brani sono stati composti con attenzione particolare alla melodia e al sound. La line up attuale è cosituita da Gian Matteo Giuliani (voce), Diego Minach (chitarre e voce), Paolo Minach (basso), Antonio Rotta (batteria) e Diego Santoferrara (chitarre nei live).Nel 1999 Diego e Paolo Minach insieme ad Armando D’Agostino e Stefano Baracchi fondano gli Access Denied e cominciano a comporre brani originali con uno stile proprio che li contraddistingue. Nella prima metà del 2002 partecipano a diversi concorsi e si esibiscono sui palchi del Rolling Stone, dello Scarface, del Tunnel, dello Stonehenge e di Cascina Monlué. Nell’ ottobre dello stesso anno registrano un brano al Noise Factory di Milano per la colonna sonora del cortometraggio E:D:E:N prodotto da Fast and Forward. Nell’ aprile 2003 registrano un Ep di 5 brani, sempre al Noise Factory di Milano e si esibiscono per un grande evento al Rolling Stone di Milano (2000 persone in sala). Qualche mese dopo Armando e Stefano lasciano la band.Antonio Rotta entra nella formazione. Comincia la pre-produzione dell’album. Nel maggio 2005 registrano le batterie allo Zedak Studio di Milano, tra settembre e dicembre il basso e le chitarre, passando poi all’editing del materiale registrato. Il 2006 è un anno di riflessione che porta alla ricerca di un nuovo cantante.Nel gennaio 2007 Giammi entra nella band e registra le voci. In ottobre si stampa il disco e gli Access Denied diventano i rhope.Grazie alla pagina web myspace.com/rhopeband i rhope cominciano a farsi sentire ottenendo da subito molti consensi.Oggi i rhope sono alla ricerca di live per promuovere il disco e la band.
