V is HARDCORE -- NORTEK INDUSTRIES / VITUS PRODUCTIONS
Music is the main aspect of my life. All sorts of noises and sounds attract me. All sorts of promotional material also draws attention to me. I enjoy throwing any type of Event (Rave, Techno, Hardcore, drum N bass, Jungle, breaks, etc)
I was introduced to the punk and Hardcore scene at an early age. Attending shows, concerts, and events scored me collaborate with some well known local 'punk' labels, and threw a show.
[Humble Beginnings (which later their bassist became the lead singer of the band Midtown, who is now doing major production work out of states and was chosen to be Featured on MTV's Real World's theme song), OL Rebellion, LANEMYER and some other locals].
A short while after I found myself sucked into something new to me... called the Rave scene. In 2003 I attended 'THE AFTER HOURS' DJ School, sponsored by Pioneer in Manhattan, NY. I learned a great deal about beat matching and promotion from some of the best promoters in the business.
Club ARC was the first club that sucked me into the Rave scene. I've missed several memorable NYC rave ventues in the past and throwing quality events is what I strive for considering such. Rebuilding the Rave scene in some sort of way is what I hope to eventually do.The first Rave party I put together was on September 22 2006 named : 'V is For VITUS' - It was an event held for me, that I played a huge role in, in celebration of my birth date. It stemmed as only a thought and resulted in a success.
Since then, I have thrown 12 other successful parties held at the same Brooklyn location. I'm currently working on other events. Be sure this is only the beginning.
