Melissa reins from a very Musical Family, her father is a professional Pianist, who also plays guitar and writes music, He wrote the NATIONAL ANTHEMN for the Caribbean island St.Vincent and the Grenadines (Joel Miguel). At the tender age of three it was known to Family and Friends that a star was in the making, her vocal abilities were amazing!! At such a young age! Her father wasted no time ensuring that her skills were honed. Melissa’s' father classically trained his daughter and even today Melissa Looks back and remembers always hearing classical music in her home, the likes of Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky! and not to mention the blessed vocal of Opera Genius Maria Callas and the wonderful tenor singer Mario Lanza.
Melissa’s' mother is a pianist, and poet, her brother and three sisters are all pianist and musicians in their own right. Music is her life, her passion and it is definitely in her blood! she is a remarkable woman with alot to give. Her mother was a TV Presenter and her family is known for so many charity work.....Melissa says that “Music is a universal Language and it is a form to reach all hearts“. Her Dream and Goal in Life is to REACH YOURS.... It is a firm belief that we are to witness the launch of a musical Legend in the same bracket of Many others i.e. Whitney Houston, Celine Dion ,Anita Baker the list goes on......
