YESTERDAY: Back in 1987, we met in a band, covering funk & soul, Average White Band, James Brown etc. We played the set so many times, we still remember it now. Went on to start a project playing 80% original material (soul, rare groove, jazz funk) in 1991, but there was something missing...
After going back down the covers road again (2003), with some really exciting material there was still something missing...
TODAY: We didn't want to be a soul/funk band or jazz/funk & rock fusion. We wanted to play & write all of it and not stick to any 1 genre. Enter: BEATS WORKING a blend of all the genres that gives us inspiration and the ability to fill the missing gap.
