Yep, we are crazy enough to be rock stars, ""so what is a [poor] man to do but to play in

About Me

I love music ("Yep, we are crazy enough to be rock stars"), my family, and Grandmother earth. Nature and hiking around outdoors. Love to jam and write songs and read about various cultures and sometimes help others to protect sacred geography.

My friends and I are working on a music project, the Taisha and Laughing Hawk - Lost Tribe, here is a link to the project site:

My Interests

I am fortunately and will always be in love with my guitar and music, keeps me living a happy life!
Keeps me going when the chips are down, and I am on the skids (an old joke from a rock Guru -lol)....

I love meeting new people, all cultures, like to learn about all sorts of things, like to joke, and learn a bit about how people(s) orientate to their world (my inner anthropologist).

I'd like to meet:

Those who cherish music and enjoy culture, are welcome. Anthropologists and other social scientists are fun, however, I think my ambition now is sticking to the rock -n- roll master (lol).

I enjoy honest, good, wild women (lol), and all people!

Music:

I'm a jungle Musician', anything goes, whatever works... Old School style and some new stuff as long as it is Rock 'n' Roll. For me, the term represents roots in many forms of music, my hope is to connect within it within that framework.

My main influences include John Lennon & his later stuff with Yoko and the art produced, and the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Dylan, and whatever is rock 'n' roll. Started out as a Punk Rocker and then as grunge rock approached, It is easy to observe how time always has an effect, spatially and through time.

So now, I'm into how music is put together, expressionism, what is going on within it.. Like Bob Dylan said, "I knew I was never going to be the best musician or guitar player or writer, but I understood, that if I am the best me, and do what I do the best, then, I might push myself to the top.

Some other musical influences, include, generally:Johnny Winter, BB King, Clapton, Joe Perry, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Ringo, Mace Gray, Robert Cray, Redbone, Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Lenny Kravitz, Rush, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Sting and some early Police, Zeppelin, Hall and Oats, Springsteen, Steve Miller, CSNY, Chuck Berry, Albert King, and many more. : ) The Neville Brother are great as well, good singing, family, and strong men, sort of like me and my cousins (lol).

Fav guitarist, BB King, Stevie Ray, Jimi Hendrix, Jimi Page, Joe Perry, Jeff Beck, Santana, Van Halen technically, George Harrison, Ace Frehley, Johnny Winter, Clapton, Albert King, Kieth Richards, Ronnie Wood, Chaquico, Jesse Ed Davis and Taj Mahal, Slash, Kinks, Robert Cray and many more.:)Like the Kid Rock stuff lately, and as usual, stuff on the radio as long as it is rock -n- roll. The Ozzie stuff is still good and an inspiration, like a fine wine, those Mature musicians get better through time like a fine wine...

Movies:

All genres love them ALL. Some musicals though, hard to pay attention too (lol). Like Spooky movies, and comedy like Little Big Man, Pow Wow Highway, Smoke Signals or, some Jim Carrey? . Or some of the Jim Carey. DVD's of concerts, and Van Helsing, Hulk, Westerns, and so forth....

Television:

Ghost Whisperer (JLH is a good actress [nice looking too]),CSI, Bones, Numbers, an House. PBS, scientific programs and televised concerts, You tube stuff, Austin City Limits, and some news programs.

If yaw want to debate and so forth, please visit my sodahead profile.

Books:

I read some (various topics), study on the computer extensively, play guitar off and on all day and half the night, so, well read, better then most, yet, pay the price for it too in eccentricities...

Heroes:

People who (INSPIRE ME) generally, do not conform to bogus and stand up for what is right, who stand for what they think is right, fight for the benefit of others (and who do things in a good way).

My family, my Mother and my tough old Dad. Good Native People, raised me the Indian way! My Grandmother and Elders, John Lennon, Jesus, MLK Jr., Malcom X, Black Elk, Fools Crow, Wobziwob, Creator. My Uncle Lacy and Clyde and Darryl Two Hearts, taught me much about Native spirituality!
