Life is now in session. Are you present?

About Me

I am youthful, energetic and independent. I enjoy spending time with intelligent people who have a good sense of humor and a love of life. I am generally outgoing and playful but also have a serious, reflective side. I love stimulating conversation and enjoy heated discussion, but equally enjoy nonsense and silliness. I can't stand pretentiousness. My interests are diverse and I've been told I have a knack for finding positives in most situations. A nice dinner with champagne is lovely, but I equally dig sharing a six pack of beer and a burger. I LOVE sushi. If you like to pigeon-hole people, then keep clicking!"Life begets life. Energy creates energy. It is by spending oneself that one becomes rich" -Sarah Bernhardt The CricketSoda Myspace Editor!

My Interests

I enjoy all kinds of things! Top on the list: visiting art museums and galleries, listening to/seeing live music, bar-hopping, beer-tasting, wine-tasting, neighborhood taverns, walking around the city, traveling to and exploring new cities and meeting new people, trying new restaurants, tasting new foods, boating, hanging out by water (ocean, lake, river, whatever!), the beach, wandering through outdoor festivals, outdoor concerts, engaging in stimulating conversation, flirting, lots of laughter; just having a general passion for life!

I'd like to meet:

Fun and interesting people.

Music:

I enjoy all different types of music...but I tend to be a rock and roll kind of gal, especially, but not limited to modern/alternative rock, punk, old school stuff, 80's, Rockabilly, chick rock and occasional taste for cheesy pop music.

Movies:

Some of my all time favorites include: Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, gotta love Monte Python's Holy Grail, Can't get enough of Gladiator, like David Lynch films, especially Blue Velvet, Swingers is always a good time, Steve Martin's The Jerk, others: Gattica(yeah, I admit that I like Sci Fi movies!), Still love When Harry Met Sally(my favorite old chick- flick)...thought Napolean Dynomite was a hoot! I Like Dead Poets Society, Rudy, Stand by Me to name a few others. Anything with Johnny Depp. :-) I also get a jones for cult movies on occasion..Killer Klowns from Outerspace.yeah!!

Television:

Not a huge TV watcher, I watch a fair amount of PBS.....and I admit I like to catch an occassional South Park episode. Still enjoy Seinfeld re-runs. I like travel shows.

Books:

Some of my favorites: The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, The Art Spirit by Robert Henri

Heroes:

Can't say I have many heroes, but there are many folks I admire: Elenor Roosevelt, Frida Kahlo and loads of other artists..
