Gulley Jimson Quartet

Red Hot Rockabilly from Washington, DC

About Me

The Gulley Jimson Quartet has been playing together for about 5 years now (on and off). We have played many different venues in the DC area including Signal 66, the Black Cat, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Wonderland Ballroom, the Firehouse Grill, the Royal Lee and Jaxx. Our live show is fast, sweaty and a good time. Our first CD "Blast Off!" is now conveniently available for purchase on iTunes and CD Baby. Here's what Rockabilly Magazine's album reviewer wrote about "Blast Off!" in a recent issue:"A fighting trim, basic rockabilly quartet that wisely attends more to potent playing than posturing. When the guitars surge and the drums kick in, you believe something important is happening. Confirmation arrives in the form of live-wire vocals."
