PABLO aka JAKUTSO aka PWR-nickname taken from the real name.
My first encounter with hip hop started in ninety three-ninety four when I was inspired by the Polish artist Kazik Staszewski, later Liroy and American performers: Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan, Cnn Terror Squad, Onyx Nwa, Talib Kweli, Mos Def and French NTM. I recorded my first tracks using simple tape recorder. In the meantime I was absorbed by another passion: Graffiti. I sarted to tag my town PWR. In 1998 I set up breakdance crew MOC. It was good fun. We danced with kids from my neighbourhood. I founded rap group Halastra. In 2001 We recorded fist home made Cd as eter- the beats producer and jakutsu- the mc. One year later we recorded EP Amulet in the same squad and later records featuring new faces. I 2002 during my holidays in Vancouver, Canada I made friends with local squad POS and I recorded with them the album Prosto Od Serca. From that time, after my coming back to Poland the walls of my town were covered by POS SF tags. The following albums were: Krolowie zycia, O dwoch takich co przeszli promile i Mowimy o Sobie, all recorded with my friend mc czort aka zaba. The music producers were: Eter, Pyku, Kielich , Olej,Saszka, Scoop, Werd, Konrad. The Last Cd Czarna magia- Black Magic was recorded in 2006-2007 and I think it is summing up and essence of what I’ ve been doing so far. It was recored with my friend mc czort as mc and Kielich as beat producer. We made two videos of the songs from that album that you can find online. We played at some hip hop festivals and concerts. My plans for the future are next album , more mature and bouncy, a desire of worldwide activity and obviously more actions with spray in the hand.
