About Me

I'm just your average, 30 year old gal, loving living in L.A. I love to laugh, love my job (although I work a TON), enjoy what little free time I have to the fullest. I work at the best Deli in the country...if you haven't been, it's totally worth the trip all the way out to Northridge I love to sing in the car, but would never torture those around me; I live for the Kevin Bacon game; I'm wicked smart, too....oh...did I mention that I love to cook and bake (but I hate doing the dishes..)? All in all, my mom says that I'm a catch..

My Interests

Movies, books, books, books, cooking, baking, playing (as adults, I've found that we don't do enough of that), live music, stand-up, watching my friends succeed in their chosen fields, making one person laugh a day, even if it's me...

I'd like to meet:

My dad's mom; George Clooney (a girl can dream, right?); Oprah; as many of those who are currently serving our country in the military that I can; my cousin Jim Varney (my Aunt Marg looks exactly like him...)survivors of the Holecaust; John Steinbeck

Music:

Pretty much anything. I love pop music, country, a little R&B, I love watching my friends perform (The Fallen Stars, Steve Carlson Band), so I'm lucky to live in L.A. where I can see them.

Movies:

This questions is way too complicated. I love Cary Grant movies, anything with a sappy, happy ending is good. Garden State, the Truman Show, Zoolander, The Royal Tennenbaums, Rushmore, Saving Private Ryan, Indiana Joens movies, LolliLove, Shaun of the Dead, High Fidelity, and, lest we forget our youth, Pretty Woman, St. Elmo's Fire(I love a good Brat Pack movie)and Dirty Dancing...I also now need to add Hot Fuzz to this list...you must watch it...it maybe be THE funniest movie I've seen....ever...and that Edgar Wright is a babe WITH a British accent...

Television:

LOST, Grey's Anatomy(don't judge...I'm a 30 year old woman), Heroes, Dirt, Nip/Tuck, CSI-but only the original,Good Eats, The Family Guy, Feasting on Asphalt, Top Chef, umm...I still watch ER, and yes, I've finally gotten into the Office...the writing is brilliant...BRILLIANT, I say!

Books:

East of Eden, The Grapes of Wrath...I could read them both again and again and again..but I will read pretty much anything...just finished the Deathly Hallows, if Oprah says read it, I usually do, My CIA book that I got for christmas(that's Culinary Institue of America, guys...), Marth Stewart's Baking handbook

Heroes:

Bryce, and my grandma
