Pedro Quintas Is a Lisbon based artist, and he performs as Vj in clubs under the name Vj VII.
He finished, in 2001, the Advanced Course of Fine Arts at Ar.Co (Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual), in Lisbon. He has presented, with regularity, paintings and drawings in solo and group exhibitions. Since 2001 he has been represented by Filomena Soares Gallery in Lisbon. Since 2004 he starts exploring the digital photography, the video and new media. Currently he works in the creation of models for the performance and composition of pictures in movement in real time. Since 2005 he develops, in partnership with Ricardo Guerreiro, a project where the interaction between picture and sound in real time performances is explored.
Recently it started performing as a Vj in dance clubs alongside different Dj..s playing Techno / Progressive / House / Electronica
