Vladimir Espinosa

Curriculum Vladimir Espinosa. Musician, and Coreographer,Born en Havana, Cuba on 1964; Teacher of Latin Percussion accompanist and Musician-in Residence at Hollings University, his specialties include Latin and Afro-Cuban styles. Graduate from the ENA (School National of Arts)in Cuba 1985;also studies with the National Folkloric de Cuba; has taught at both ENA , I start to Teacher on the Arts School in Jiguani Granma, and the House of Cultural of Plaza in Havana; performed ,taught and choreographed for many companies such as:Caribeno (Cuba),Companies National de Danza (Ecuador), Orile (Cuba), and Rojo Oscuro (Ecuador).as a performer I has traveled extensively though out the US, Europe, Central and South America; in 1994 he moved to live in Ecuador and form part of many musical groups such as Pueblo Nuevo (Ecuador),Havana Express (Cuba), Koral y Esmeralda (Ecuador) where have the opportunity to play we excellent musicians like Carmen Gonzalez, Omar Sosa, Javier Tito Junco, and another’s, Savuca Son (Ecuador). In 1996-1999 I start a tour we Havana Express for different cities Washington, Virginia, New York, and Miami at the time recently toured the East coast Havana Express I whole Solazo group and meek tour for 4 years, conducting workshops on variety of high schools and universities. Current I’m the musical director of the traditional Afro Cuban group Las Manos del Sol, and the with this project we conducting workshops on Elementary school, High School, and Universities, performed on Festivals, Theaters, Museums etc. We Michel Ferre pianist from Cuba ex member of Havana Express, record my last CD Acoustic Latin Jazz, and the new project for tour, ADF faculty since ‘05.
