Eskilstuna is a small town, about a 1 hour car drive from Stockholm. I grew up there doing all kind of sports with football as the main activity. I..ve been a red devil since 1975 when Man United won the 2nd division. I don..t know how but I was suddenly a singer in a band during the post-punk era. My first band was called Rebel and the 2nd band was called Abnorma Ackord! I learned how to tune the guitar and started to write songs. Together with friends we started the production company Future Crew and enjoyed a success with Rednex. I penned "Wish You Were Here" for Rednex and "Romeo" for Shebang which became two significant singles for these artists. The Rednex song were also covered by the Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night. Writing is still very close to my heart even if it was many years since I had time to focus at it. I founded the punkpop duo Shebang in the late 90..s and discovered Caroline Wennergren in 2004. Both have been important signings for Plugged Records. Among our other artists we have a new young boyband What..s Up!, dance/pop girlies Caracola, powerpop/garage band The Ackermans and the electro project Umami with vocals by Freddie Wadling, Ardis, Caroline af Ugglas, Caroline Wennergren and others. We..ve just expanded our business into distribution services and we plan to include film, books and pc-games as well. It..s tough doing music business these days but music will always be a happy pill!
