About Me

Hi, i am Joyce Barry - Pringle. I am a senior officer at the Wentworth detention centre, i love my job and get along with most of the staff and try and give the prisoners a fair go. I was acting governor for a while but it wasnt for me i much prefer to stay in the ranks. My first husband was called Norm who i divorced, and later had a heart attack and died, i have a son called Jim, and i am married to the most wonderfull man, - Mervyn, we met at Wentworth when he was the prison cook. We used to have midnight snacks in the kitchen together, and other things.. - those were the days. I am some what one of the better looking officers in Wentworth so i can sort of understand why Mervyn would fall for me.

My Interests

Going out and havin a drink or two with my friends, spending time with my mervyn, and tap dancing, i LOVE tap dancing and dancing in general, me and Mervyn go line dancing one a week. I also like collecting tea towells, i have a large collection of them and Mrs Jackson very kindly brought me one back from her holidays when she was on leave.

I'd like to meet:

Any of our ex officers to see where they are now, Heather Rogers, Janet Conway, Steve Faulkner, Jim Fletcher to name a few.. oh yes and Beryl Simmons who looked after my Norm when i left, i'd just like to tell her theres no hard feelings over the fact she was straight in there with Norm after i left. i didnt get a chance at the hospital when he died.

Music:

Anything i can tap dance too!!

Television:

I like cuddling up on the sofa on rainy nights and watching old movies on t.v with my Mervyn.

Books:

I prefer a good magazine than a book.
