My name is Vera Bennett and I am Deputy Governor at Wentworth Detention Centre. At least I was until they brought in Jim Fletcher. If you ask me, a man has no place in a women's prison.Things would be a lot better at Wentworth if I were Governor. I would follow the rules and regulations to the letter so you would see much more order if I had my way. I don't believe in any of this rehabilitation nonsense. Discipline is what these prisoners need and it is with great pleasure that I enforce it.While my job is an important part of my life, I still aim to have a more active social life. I am still looking for Mr Right. I thought I found him in Terry Harrison, but it ended badly...I'm not going to talk about that with you. It's none of your business. When not at work, I like to let my hair down and have a drink.I am currently keeping my eyes open for governorship openings and other prisons like Barnhurst or Blackmore.
