About Me
Glyn-C
After many years of hard work on the commercial circuits in and around South Yorkshire Glyn finally took the step completely into the Hard Dance scene in the latter half of the 90’s.
Having struggled for over 10 years to make a name for himself Glyn had played with some of the most notorious and famous names around in the Hardcore, Techno and Hard House genres over that period including the world ranked DJs
Billy Nasty, Mark E.G., M-Zone, Lee Haslam, Paul Glazby and the list goes on.
Like many DJ’s Glyn has many treasured memories of his times both behind and in front of the decks.
If you ask him he will to date always tell of his fondest 3 including:
Playing to a packed club in Malta whilst on Honeymoon then going to play at the
Pre-party for the Maltese Tribal Gathering for Josh Wink.
Celebrating his 30th birthday with Billy Nasty in Sheffield with 7 of his best friends.
His impromptu visit to Ibiza in ‘06’ with Tracy, Carl (his younger brother) & his wife to be Sarah, for his 36th birthday and celebrating it in style at the Judgement Sunday’s closedown party.
After running his own event with his wife / manager (Tracy) for a year in 2000 Glyn decided to call it a day and committed himself to family life throwing himself whole heartedly into this as he does in everything.
Glyn spent the next 6 years helping to raise his daughter and son again excelling in his every venture.
Despite his retirement he still had his heart in the Hard Dance scene and after a lot of coercion from Tracy, Carl and friends he made his comeback on September 8th 2007 with a last minute slot at OC’s covering for his friend Dooney and also playing his own set later that day.
As always Glyn makes friends where ever he goes and struck up a firm friendship with the owner of that event and the Shine events.
His dedication to his music was no more prominent than the following month when Glyn on less than 3hours notice grabbed his vinyl and boarded a train from Doncaster to Birmingham to return to play at OC’s and then step in after missing his train to play at Shine (again) the following day.
Since making his come back Glyn has started to click up some quite impressive slots and events including the following events:
Magnetic – The Venue, Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire
Blessed – The Voltz Club, Kettering, Northamptonshire
OpenDex - OC’s, Birmingham, West Midlands (3 sets)

Glyn’s many years of experience shine through whenever he plays, being fully capable of warm up slots, peak time slots or end of night slots, he is always keen to keep the party alive and is more than willing to play at after parties and pre – parties
alike.
Where as most DJ’s will choose a genre and stick with it and the various sub-genres around it Glyn is perfectly capable and skilled in playing most styles including:
House
Hard House / NRG
Trance
Techno
Hardstyle / Jumpstyle
Commercial (on the rare and odd occasion when is asked)
Electro / Funky
Progressive / Breaks
Hardcore (Dutch and Italian)
Happy Hardcore / Oldskool
And the list goes on.
Although quite capable of doing so Glyn prefers not to mix the following:
Drum and Bass
Rhythm and Blues
Hip Hop
Acid Jazz
If you are after that illusive DJ / Entertainer / Showman for all occasions then we can recommend Glyn-C without hesitation and with a whole hearted commendation for both his skills and his ability to work the crowd and get the floor dancing.
Although none have yet been signed Glyn continues to post his own productions and mixes on the internet for people to get hold of and listen to.
