Superstring Theory is the 2nd release of Scottish Producer Akkiles and the 3rd release of Future State Records, with the original and 4 remixes its the most exciting release from this new label.
The original is an epic slice of energetic trance with a powerful atmosphere and stunning piano and synths. On remix duties is Michiel de Jong who maintains the energy and the power of the original but puts his own slant on it, delivering a soaring uplifting trance cut.

BIOGRAPHY
Michiel de Jong,
or Michaël de Jong (real name) was born on April 25th, 1983 in Tiel, the Netherlands.
Music has always been a very important part in Michiel’s life.
His interest in electronic dance music began in the late 90s, after having been introduced to tracks from acts such as Cygnus X and Tiesto. As this interest grew, he was eventually encouraged to start producing his own tracks.
To improve both musical- and technical- skills, Michiel in 2004 started studying at SAE (School for Audio Engineering) in Rotterdam. After an intensive course he received his Audio Engineering diploma. Almost immediately there was offered him a part-time job at 2 broadcasting stations and started broadcasting his weekly radio shows.
The money that he earned was invested in new studio equipment such as synthesizers, samplers, soundmodules and other studio facilities, providing broader sounds and better mixing possibilities.
In 2007 his recording studio was finished and his first release “In Place†was signed at Future State Records. The 2nd release, a remix Superstring theory was released on 13/07/07. To be continued…
