About Me

I am a writer and literary translator based in Dublin, Ireland.

My second poetry collection, Morning at Mount Ring, has just been published by and is available via Doghouse Books (http://www.doghousebooks.ie). My previous collection entitled Shadow of Time has been published by and is available via Goldsmith Press. I also published seven collections of my Russian poems, most recent being Visitors' Book (Third Wave, 2001).

A Night in the Nabokov Hotel, my bilingual anthology of contemporary Russian poetry in English translation, has been published by and is available via Dedalus Press, Dublin (http://www.dedaluspress.com).

In 2006, I founded the Irish Haiku Society, with Siofra O'Donovan and Martin Vaughan. I also edit Shamrock Haiku Journal ( http://www.myspace.com/shamrockhaikujournal ) and Okno Russian-language Poetry Magazine ( http://www.myspace.com/oknomagazine ).
