About Me

Custom top banner code by Eileen End Code To Apply Top BannerThe Paul Green School of Rock Music is the nations "original" performance based, interactive music school founded in 1998 in Philadelphia. We proceed from the belief that the best way to learn to do almost anything is by doing it. Our goals at the PGSORM are: to help our students realize their amazing potential as artists, to put them on stage in front of as many people as possible and to help foster a new generation of incredible musicians. From the moment a student joins one of our schools they are PLAYING music, LOUD, on professional equipment with other musicians. Before long, our students are playing Live Rock Concerts. These are not your typical, old fashioned, wait through fifty other students, mangling their songs until your childs turn arrives recitals. These are Real Rock Concerts at Real Rock Venues in front of Real Rock Audiences. Our school offers:Weekly 45 min lessons, on an instument of their choice, taught by professional musicians. (Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Drums, Keyboards)3 hour weekly rehearsals where our students are placed in a band environment. This is the time where they practice together as a band and prepare for the main event..."The Show." (first show planned for the Carnegie Branch will be Pink Floyd's "The Wall!")General use of rehearsal rooms and gear anytime during hours of operation.Classes and seminars by guest professors. At present, we are in the process of finalizing details regarding our schools opening and will keep you posted on our progress. If you have any questions regarding enrollment, etc... please feel free to contact me at 412-654-6566 or e-mail me at [email protected]'re very excited to be bringing the Paul Green School of Rock Music to all the kids here in the Pittsburgh area!!! See you soon!!!"Saving Rock & Roll One Kid at a Time"Jim Gallagher.. br /
