People?!?!? There's people here? Sweet Cheebus I can't deal........
Music speaks to me, thus I need to answer.
Music- fucking music! I am blessed to work with an array of aural assassins under a number of names; Tocsin, Dead Sector, & Homicial Choir are amongst some of them.
Songs published by the following labels:Industrial Strength Records, Apocalypse Recordings, Black Monolith Records, Hellbound Records, Bastard Loud, Smerk ;^), Ketacore, Terrorcore.com, and Mode of Proof. + More to come!
Anything but romance is tolerable. Blood + gratuitous nudity = huge bonus.
Movie that Speaks Now: "Pan's Labyrinth" The twisted dreams are still going strong...
Cartoons, because they are hands down the most well-thought out programs on TV.
Series that Speaks Now: "Red Dwarf" British humor from a decade or two ago, and it's fucking brilliant.
A lifelong love affair- too many to count, I'm a slave to the written word. Forever in need of new material, suggestions always welcome. Bedside books (the ones that never leave) are Frank Miller and Nietzsche.
Book that Speaks Now: "Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said" by Philip Dick. Highly recommended, blew my mind and emotions
Batman, definitely Batman. Back in the day I had a 20 minute rant about how I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for Batsyboy. Aside from showing what one man can do (kicks the shit out of any alien or superenhanced human, yet he's just a man), he's fucking smart. And dark. See, Batman gets 'it'. I was thoroughly traumatized by the Batman of the 1970s- that's when he just got twisted and IMHO truly earned his Dark Knight moniker.
Batman's simply got it goin on- he's blessed with resources, yet relies on his mind, he understands that that is the key that can unlock the physics others try to manipulate. And people dare speak of him comperable to Superman. That's what has always pissed me off about Superman. If he's superenhanced in every way, why isn't he supersmart? He's dumb as a box of rocks and twice as heavy. What gives? Why super strength in every muscle and organ *except* the brain? And Batman still kicks his ass at the end of the day.
