Irradio is a dubious musical explosion headed by the blistering guitar dabbling of Daniel Dasher and his stratospheric delay pedal!? Fortunate for him he was able collaborate with the intuitive guitar playing of Jim Hughs, with the addition of Hughs along came the keyboards of Andrew Hiene?$ Making his debut performance as the woodwinds virtuoso, Sir Steven Welker! Following with the bass groove is the guru himself Rick Blare, and rounding up this monosyllabic arsenal on percussions is Greg Sudor!Irradio first graced the likes of the public eye in the spring of 2001 getting slots at the Casbah on Monday's, late weekdays at The Aztec Bowl in North Park San Diego, and sweet gigs with the kids at the Che Cafe on The Campus of UCSD. The Boys quickly became local favorites, around school libraries, computer labs, and at your neighborhood junior college. In 2002 Irradio released their first album "Semantic Noise" on Arizona based label and friends Lola Records. After Semantic was released slowly the dudes were getting some respect around town, Transworld Skate gave them a shout, The Casbah moved them to wednesday nights.By 2004 Irradio had managed to do some heavy touring through out the U.S., Canada, and the small city of Tijuana, Mexico! Irradio has shared the stage with the likes of many popular, super popular, and not so popular bands that would do this story no good if mentioned. 2004 also marked their 2nd album release "Make-up for the Inaugurated," and first release on Hunnington Beach label GreyFlight Records. This record embodied the 2nd journey through the mind of Dasher and his ongoing tale of social justice through means of love and unity. Thanks to the collaboration of Edgar Alminar (hype man/keys/cowbell), Paolo Zuniga (Guitar), and Collin & Chad Tuthill (percussions & bass) Make-up For The Inaugurated catapulted the band to World Wide recognition. Constantly being played in Europe and South American cities like Brasil and Argentina...mainly on internet radio's.2006 the boys released a 3 song Ep self titled, that displayed songs performed for their next record, sadly after dealing with record industry types the vision was never completed. It is now 2008 additional members have joined the family, and the new record "I am the horn" is set to release this summer! Irradio has one thing in mind.........The Revolution of you...
